After the 2004 tsunami

As hundreds of homes were rendered uninhabitable or were completely washed away by the tsunami, the Ashram immediately began constructing temporarily shelters in Kerala and in Tamil Nadu to house the affected families. The work went on night and day. In this world where projects get tied up in red tape, Amma's Ashram stands out as an exception.
