Amma's Programs in Boston, Massachusetts, USA

Amma held public programs and a three day retreat in the Boston suburb of Marlborough, Massachusetts, USA.   Miss Susanne M. Leeber, a representative of the Mayor, came to present Amma with a certificate that read: "Whereas Amma’s compassion has manifested itself in unparalleled good works that made this world a better place for everyone, brought lasting peace and consoled those less fortunate amongst us. Amma has brought together a diverse, international group of diligent and determined volunteers. The city of Marlborough recognizes Amma for her uplifting message of compassionate service, for leading by example, for championing the rights of those less fortunate especially women."

During the retreat program there was a special Puja at 6:30 AM, which was conducted next to the main hall by Br. Shantamrita Chaitanya.  

On the second night of the retreat, the Tour Staff treated Amma and the gathered crowd to cultural performances which were based on Amma's teachings.
