Katha Kali Performance in Amritapuri: Krishna, Devaki and Yasoda

1st January 2007 —The Sandarshan Katha Kali Vidyalayam presented a performance of Krishna being reunited with Devaki (Krishna's birth mother). Even though Devaki recognizes Krishna as the Lord, she has sorrow because she was not able to witness his childhood lilas. So Krishna brings Yasoda to Devaki to explain about his childhood. (Krishna was born to Devaki while she was in prison, but escaped Kamsa's sword and was raised by Yashoda).
