Amma held three days of programmes in London's Alexandra Palace.   It was Amma's 20th year visiting the UK.

Councilor Omana Gangadharan, Civic Ambassador of the London Borough Newham Council welcomed Amma, “Amma’s kindness reaches millions of needy people around the world. In the past three decades Amma has done so much in the field of social justice by promoting education and raising the living standard of the poor and the frail.”

Mr. Sanjeev Shrinath, First Secretary of Indian High Commission London, England, also addressed the crowd, “By her compassion and love she is not only washing our sins, but she is providing us transcended happiness, eternal happiness.”
