Amma's Programs in Los Angeles, USA

On L.A.’s major boulevards and in the ethnic communities, big banners announced Amma’s program.

Amma was welcomed by Councilman Dennis P. Zine. Amma was offered the certificate of friendship by the city council. Amma was also presented a plaque on behalf on the Los Angeles County board of supervisors and all L.A. residents as a token of gratitude.

Daryl Hannah, a famous Hollywood actress came to meet Amma and said in an interview “that being the embodiment of love and compassion, Amma is all we need to heal the world. It’s the most beautiful thing. I was just so excited to meet Amma.”

Manoj Kaytee, an Indian film producer and concert-promoter explained “My experience was a lot of calmness in me, I felt a lot of peace around me and I am sure Amma has a lot of peace to offer the world.”

World-renowned playback-singer Sonu Nigam came to meet Amma and performed several songs on the stage before receiving Amma’s darshan. In an interview he said: “Meeting someone like Amma is indescribable, you can’t put it into words. In the same world we live in we have someone like Amma, who is doing completely reverse of what people in the world are doing. She is spreading love, so much of motherhood, so much of oneness and unity amongst people of all cast, all creeds and all races.
