Christmas Eve in Amritapuri

24 December 2007 - Thousands of people came to celebrate Christmas in Amma’s divine presence at Amritapuri.  A number of Amma's children put on a Christmas play which included musical performances and Christmas Carols.

Amma also gave a brief talk about the meaning of Christmas.

As midnight approached, Amma led everyone in chanting 'Lokah Samastah Sukinau Bhavantu' – a prayer for the peace and wellbeing of the entire world.

With the help of Santa Claus, Amma distributed chocolate cake prasad to everyone.
