Devotees where eagerly awaiting for Amma when she arrived for the two days program at the Brahmasthanam.

Justice S.R. Nayak, Chairman of Karnataka State for Human Rights Commission gave Amma a hearty welcome.   Justice Nayak joined Mr. Doraiswamy Naik, General Inspector of Police in distributing educational stipends for the children of farmers as part of Amma’s farmer suicide prevention program ‘Vidyamritam’.   2000 children in Bangalore are now receiving this monthly scholarship.  

Students of Amrita Institutions  in Bangalore prepared a huge repertoire of cultural dances, plays and bhajans.
