Mrs. Susanne Morreale Leeber, President and CEO of Marlborough regional chamber of commerce welcoming Amma said "...Whereas Amma’s compassion has manifested itself in unparalleled good works that have made this world a better place for everyone"
Venkatesh Narayanamurti, Dean of Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences in Boston said " Amrita University is a vision that Amma created. They really want to broaden interactions between our country, the United States, and India."
During the rpogramme, members of Amrita Yuva Dharmadhara (AYUDH), traveled to Natick Community Organic Farm in Natick, Massachusetts, and planted Maple sugar trees and blueberry bushes. Each of the youth have vowed to plant one tree a month as part of "Green Friend initiatives" aimed at saving the environment and reestablishing harmony between humans and nature.
